Following up on an extremely successful showing in 2011, the multi-day POW WOW Hawaii art event prepares for its third annual showing.
Originally conceived in Hong Kong, the event moved to founder Jasper Wong’s native Hawaii to help enrich the local creative scene.
The event encompasses a global roster of over 30 artists who will each create art at Loft in Space and over the streets of Kaka’ako over a six-day period from the 13th-18th of February. The artists include 123KLAN, Angry Woebots, Aaron De La Cruz, Flying Fortress, Mr. Jago, Jeff Hamada, Nicole Naone, Samuel Rodriguez, Suitman, Prime and many more.
As is the exhibition wasn't enought there will also be two secondary elements an Arkitip Pop-Up Store and photography exhibition 'Day Job' curated by Hypebeast’s Eugene Kan.
The nearly week-long event culminates with a huge party on Saturday, February 18 as well as a “black out” session in which many of the pieces created for the event will be painted over to reinforce the importance of process in art.

Dave Carter is an independent stopframe animator. His animations have been commissioned by, among others, MTV, Comedy Central, Mike Judge’s Animation Show, MondoMedia and Sony BMG.
His shorts have screened at the some of the most prestigious animation festivals in the world, including the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, and he was honoured with a complete career retrospective screening in Slovakia (Fest Anca).
Rave reviews about Dave's animations have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, People and Time Out magazine. Several of Dave’s animations have been included in the National Film and Sound Archives for preservation.

Sydney based Bennet is another artist who is starting the year off running with his solo show 'Can We Fly' opening TODAY from 4-6pm. See how this taented artist merges his collage and painting skills to make a unique piece of art..
The show consists of mixed media works which are both insights into the development of the artist, as well as visual narratives and explorations of alternative reality and escapism for the audience to break down. Challenging values and questioning society and its ability to shape people physically and mentally are both strong under tones of the collection.

"IF WE CAN'T CONTROL THE BOAT,LET'S CONTROL THE OCEAN" will be his first solo exhibition in Berlin. Presenting new paintings on wood, photographs and a site-specific installation. These new works explore the futility of an uncontrollable existence, shown in moments of clarity and small gestures of resistance. Kyle continues to enhance and strengthen his unique style through progressive exploration of different spaces, environments and surfaces.

DAMPSPACE is a collaborative project between Damp® and Rah Collective, nestled just minutes from Curl Curl beach encouraging emerging and student artists to exhibit their work.
And you can be apart of their first show!! They are looking for artists to create an A1 poster based around a central theme “MOIST”. It can be a literal translation, or just use the theme as a jumping off point, just make sure you can explain it when you submit...
There will be a fee involved if you are chosen to take part and this will cover gallery fees and printing of the poster for display.

Font Magazine, clearly a lover all all things type is bringing London a very special show, 'The Art of Font'.
Featuring Just Another Artist Nate Holmes Trapnell along with a great line upof artists including: Bicileta Semi Freio, French, Drew Millward, Goo Machine, Jack Teagle, Jordan Buckley, James Jirat Patradoon, Kate Prior, Luke Drozo, Luke Dixon, Andres Guzman, Mr Gauky, Paul Jackson, Pete Fowler, Matt Skiff, Waste Studio and Hell of Freaks.
The show runs from the 21st-25th February at The Black Heart 2-3 Greenland Place, Camden, London with the Closing Party on the 25th from 8 till late.
With extreme happiness and sadness we bring you the last lot of the Artist Workshops for the 'Board' exhibition.
The final round features Just Another Artists 23rd Key and Deb. With completely opposing styles and techniques this will be one lot of workshops you don't want to miss. They will be in the space from Thursday to Saturday from 10am-10pm.
Not only will this weekend be your last chance to see our artists at work in the space but it's also your last chance of seeing the show with the 3rd of February being the official closing party.
Head on down to the Studio - The Atrium, Federation Sq, Melbourne, from 6pm to have a drink, see the girls painting as well as meeting some of the other artists, Melika from Just Another and Paul from 360 Project, who is making a trip down from Queensland.
