SEAR or SEARious Jones is a Melbourne based, creative, whose work ranges from graffiti, illustration, portraits and design to other general 'stuff making' antics, not excluding large scale murals, 3d sculpture and wooden diarama-esque picture boxes.

A healthy dose of cynicism, a 'unique' sense of humour and a love for 'humanisms', combined with a heavy influence of Saturday morning, cartoon 'punch', photojournalism and biographical drama and text heavy, DIY screen printed, punk rock posters of yesteryear is apparent in her work, as is her love of fonts, wordplay and cliches.

Recently, a healthy obsession for playing with power tools and experimenting with basic moving parts has become an integral part in her creative inspiration and 'process'.

She paints by the philosophy of 'By Any Means/Media Necessary' and collages and layers all of these elements onto a ‘suitable’,usually recycled, canvas, that adds its own ‘voice’ to the story.
