Max Berry was Born in 1987 in Katherine NT. However he currently lives and works Sydney NSW. Max works both in the studio and on the street transferring his images from canvas to walls and back again.

Max creates a world where every object has a life of its own, a daydream land where houses talk to clouds and characters float playfully in abstracted space. Fascinated by obscure lore and strange unknown lands, his work explores the human condition in a playful journey into the surreal.

2007 Max co-founded Oh Really Magazine & Collective. Regularly producing a print publication showcasing artists from across Australia. In 2008 the Oh Really trio established Oh Really Gallery in Newton in support of local, national and international artists. Aiming “to catalogue all the amazing things we see and inspire others to get busy creatively.”
