‘Into the Woods’ By Adam Oehlers
Into the Woods is a collection of illustrations by UK based Adam Oehlers, that draws inspiration from classic tales and that of his own creation.
'The Grimms Collection'
“With this collection I wanted to re-visit those tales that effected me strongly as a child. The Grimms stories have such a twisted side to them, something I feel has become a little lost over time.” Including images from ‘The juniper Tree’, ‘Hansel & Gretel’, ‘Red Riding Hood’ & ‘Tom Thumb.
'The Foxtapus and Frobbit Enclosure'
Part of a collection called 'Mr Fortunes Peculiar Pet Shop. Mr Fortune is an inventor with a strange sense of logic. His pet shop is a collection of hybrid animals which include, the frobbit, the foxtapus, the praying mantelope and the Ramilion and many more.
'Mr Stich'
This is an Illustration for a Children's book called 'The Tail of Two Bad Mice' written by Iain Williams.
'Yorik'
This is a character design for a story of the same name. An old fisherman ventures out to see to discover the cause of a strange mist that hangs over his island.
'The Butterfly Room'
This piece is an illustrations for a story of mine called 'Dear Little Emmie'. It is the story of a girl Little Emmie who meets her grizzly end in the swamplands that surround her home.
