"I have always been a story teller at heart and have used my Illustration work, puppetry and sculptures to build up a world that people can hopefully find themselves lost in. I try to include a sense of nostalgia in all of my work, I want the viewer to be transported back to when they were a child, to be reminded of the tales they were told, the wonderful adventures they had and the worlds that they were taken to."

"My themes in my own stories are often simple but far from it to the character experiencing them. I enjoy putting an ordinary sort in an extraordinary situation or an extraordinary sort experiencing something extraordinarily ordinary. The stories that I focus on are often dark and gloomy, for example the classic fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm or of Hans Christian Anderson, and the works of Edward Gorey. Although they are often frightening it is the little elements of hope within these stories that capture my imagination."
